Join the CGO for our second Speaker Series event this year on the topic of how men navigate and experience balancing work and family life! At our February Speaker Series, we explored how men experience being a father in the workforce, and learned about the unique challenges they face as well as the supports that allow them to succeed at finding a proper balance. Our March event will continue this discussion and delve further into the topic, with a particular focus on how men can to integrate work and family.

The session will be led by Jessica DeGroot, Founder and President of ThirdPath Institute, an organization that works to create a culture where all individuals can follow an integrated approach to work and life. Specifically, the mission of ThirdPath is to: "Assist individuals, families and organizations in finding new ways to redesign work to create time for family, community and other life priorities. Develop a growing community of individuals, leaders and organizations to influence wider change - both within organizations and at the public policy level. Support a new mind-set where everyone can follow a "third path" - an integrated approach to work and life."

In addition to sharing best practices and public policies that have created real change at either an organizational or societal level, Jessica will discuss the critically important role that men play in shaping
a workforce that works for families. We'll also continue to examine the challenges that come into play when working to change the complex gender dynamics and deeply ingrained gender norms that exist even in today's modern society, and discuss practical solutions that individuals and organizations can use to enact change.

Subsidized parking and a complimentary lunch will be provided. Seating is limited, please RSVP today!
