The Nutrition Department at Simmons School of Nursing and Health Sciences is pleased to welcome Doug Rauch to campus for his presentation, An Innovative Solution to the Hunger Problem.

Doug Rauch will lead a discussion on higher purpose, stakeholder integration, conscious leadership and conscious culture and how these principles can come together to build stronger businesses and improve society.

Doug brings a unique perspective and vast experience. He is the founder and president of Daily Table, which opened its first store on June 4, 2015 in Dorchester. Daily Table’s mission is to “help communities make great choices around food by making it easy for them to choose tasty, healthy, convenient and truly affordable meals and groceries.” He also serves as CEO of Conscious Capitalism. Formerly the president of Trader Joe’s, Doug played a key role in the retailer’s growth, success and culture of customer satisfaction.
