Sexy After Cancer

Helping Patients Cope with Intimacy and Sexuality Challenges

Starts:  10/5/2015  7:00 PM
Ends: 10/5/2015 8:30 PM
Location: Linda K. Paresky Conference Center, Simmons College

It is difficult enough to cope with the physical effects of having and being treated for cancer, but the havoc a disease can wreak on a person’s sexual life can be extra devastating: upsetting our self-esteem, derailing our relationships, and - to make matters worse - it is not a topic that is frequently talked about.

Barbara Musser, founder of Sexy After Cancer, will discuss how cancer and cancer treatments negatively affect people’s sexual lives and how we can help ourselves, our patients, and others in our lives who have dealt with cancer feel sexy again!

A thought leader in the field of cancer and sexuality, Barbara Musser has 25 years of experience as a sex educator, workshop designer and facilitator, author and speaker.
