Life Lessons: Impermanence and the Power of Now

A SLIS public lecture with Associate Professor Naresh Agarwal

Starts:  9/30/2015  4:30 PM
Ends: 9/30/2015 5:30 PM
Location: Collaboratory, One Palace Road, Simmons College

Eckhart Tolle discusses strategies for living in the present and the importance of doing so in his best-selling book The Power of Now. He identifies our mind and its role as the creator of pain, which prevents us from living fully in the present. Drawing on the works of Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh, and my own learning, this talk aims to share ways and means to deal with anxious moments in our day to day lives. During the Q&A, audience members will have the opportunity to share their own experiences.
