Where Art and Data Intersect

Panopticon Presents a Meta Panel

Starts:  10/24/2015  2:00 PM
Ends: 10/24/2015 5:00 PM
Location: S-183 (Lecture Hall), Science Building, Simmons College

Panopticon would like to invite you to join our conversation on art documentation this weekend.

Where exactly do art and archives/art and librarianship converge? How does the ability to preserve art that was intended to be ephemeral affect the way the art is interacted with? How does it change the art itself? How do we even begin to make sense of data in the humanities?

We are asking these questions (and many others) of our multidisciplinary panel of artists, musicians, and creators.

Our Panel:

Tickets are free, but we would like to ask you to RSVP, so that we can get a sense of our numbers. Light refreshments will be provided.
