On Saturday, March 21, 2015, Simmons is hosting Graduate Alumnae/i Professional Day for graduate alumnae/i from the School of Management, the School of Social Work, and the School of Library and Information Science.

Bill Walczak, founder of Codman2 Health Center, will deliver the keynote address. Program highlights include workshops that showcase innovations in the field, opportunities to network with other alumnae/i, and presentations of awards to distinguished members of the graduate alumnae/i community.

Award recipients include: 

  • Maida Solomon Distinguished Career Award to David Rehm '78SW, President and CEO of HopeHealth
  • Outstanding Alumni Award to Magnolia Contreras '98SW, Director of Community Benefits at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
  • Alumni Special Recognition Award to Peggy Brown '98SW, retired from Hunter College School of Social Work
  • Alumni Achievement Award to Linda Watkins '84LS

Social worker attendees are eligible for CEUs. Space is limited. Please register online by Friday, March 14, 2015. Complimentary garage parking will be available on campus for attendees.
