MISSION AND GOALS
The mission of the Career Services Office is to build partnerships with students, alumnae, employers and the SOM community to enhance career success for our students, recent graduates and alumnae at all stages of their career. Our goals are to be a prime source for new and more seasoned MBA professionals to key employers, and to ensure students and alumnae are prepared to conduct successful job searches.
School of Management alumnae are invited to partner with the Career Services Office throughout their career. Whether you live locally or on the other side of the world, we can assist those of you who are:

New Books and Printing Policy
Stop by the Simmons SOM Library, located on the lower level of 411 Commonwealth Avenue, and take a look at our new book display of featured titles, including: Mommy Wars: Stay-At-Home and Career Moms Face off on Their Choices, Their Lives, Their Families, Managing at the Leading Edge: New Challenges in Managing Nonprofit Organizations, Startups That Work: The 10 Critical Factors That Will Make or Break a New Company, and Buzzmarketing: Get People to Talk About Your Stuff.
Check out “America’s Largest Private Companies” in the most recent issue of Forbes magazine. The December 2006 issue of Entrepreneur magazine contains the “2007 Hot List” of the best businesses, markets, trends and ideas. Simmons College Printing
To print material at the SOM, alumnae and guests must purchase a shark card. Each printed page costs $.07 and each color printed page costs $.77. The shark card can be obtained from the kitchen area in the 409 building. Please see the Lab Assistant in the student computer area with any questions.
