The Negotiation Edge: Effective Strategies for Women

Join SOM Deloitte Ellen Gabriel Professor of Women and Leadership and Negotiations expert Dr. Deborah Kolb for this intensive and practical 2.5 day program where you will learn to:
* Avoid being "caught off guard" in everyday negotiation situations;
* Turn around behavior that can put you on the defensive;
* Determine what others want, and how to reach creative agreements that work for everyone;
* Negotiate with influence - regardless of your position within the organization; and

Deborah Kolb (with Judith Williams '80) is the author of “Everyday Negotiation: Navigating the Hidden Agendas of Bargaining” (Jossey-Bass/John Wiley, 2003). Originally titled The Shadow Negotiation, Harvard Business Review named it one of the ten best business books of 2000 and it received the Best Book Award from the International Association of Conflict Management at its meetings in Paris, 2001.
