Invite a prospective student to join Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands, alumnae, students, and faculty to hear their stories about the Simmons MBA experience. Prospective MBA candidates will learn what it takes to earn a Simmons MBA and how it will open up a world of possibilities and opportunities. This a great opportunity to learn more information about the one-year accelerated program, part-time options, curriculum, career placement, financing a degree, and the application process. Prospective students will also gain a glimpse into the classroom by participating in a “mini-case discussion” led by one of the SOM's esteemed faculty. Free parking is available! Many of you are aware of the Job Seeker's Network (JSN) Meetings that have been ongoing at the School of Management. These meetings are informal gatherings of alumnae who are in the process of seeking a new position for a myriad of reasons. We want to continue these valuable meetings, and have decided to shift the start time to 6:00 pm. Hopefully this will give many of you more time to get here if you are coming from work. We hope you will join us.
For the rest of 2008, the JSN meetings will be a bit more structured. The structure of each meeting will be explained at the time of the meeting. We hope you decide to join us and we welcome your feedback for continuous improvement.
