Leading Organizational Change
Simmons SOM, 409 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA
May 21 - 23, 2007 Cost: $1,800

This program is designed for professionals in middle to senior-level positions who are responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing change within their organization. Participants will learn diagnostic approaches to assessing the need for change and linking it to a financial assessment process. The program will help you plan for change by establishing vision, purpose, and measurements for success, and allow you to determine how to enlist buy-in from key stakeholders and team members and keep them involved and engaged throughout the process, while you create strategies for effective implementation. Explore the dilemmas imbedded in both planning and implementing change and develop strategies for addressing those challenges. Participants will create a comprehensive plan for effectively leading change in your own change initiative.

Simmons School of Management Associate Professors, Dr. Cynthia Ingols and Dr. Indra Guertler join together to provide a unique perspective on change management. A published author and researcher, Dr. Ingols specializes in organizational behavior, change management and career coaching. Dr. Guertler, who holds a Kennedy Award for Teaching Excellence, specializes in finance and is often called upon by companies such as Siemens AG, to consult on key strategic management projects.
