At our 4th annual Corporate Social Responsibility panel, the panelists really made the case that CSR is not just "the right thing to do" but that it also creates competitive advantage. They explained that competitive advantage could come from attracting new clients, motivating and retaining employees, or from influencing the development of new products, among others. The panelists' viewpoints were a great complement to our recently published research that shows that women are more likely to be motivated and remain at companies they perceive contribute to society.
