Information for Parents and Families
At Simmons, we recognize that parents and families are an important support to a student throughout her career. The Parents and Families website has been designed to serve as a resource for parents and families to answer some of the questions most frequently asked by parents and families. We encourage you to visit this website for information.
As you help to prepare your student to come to Simmons, we ask that you encourage her to do the following:
- Submit her housing application: it is really important that the student fills out her application on her own in order to ensure the best roommate pairing.
- Submit her final high school transcript or college transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admission, 300 The Fenway, Boston, MA 02115.
- Check her email regularly: there will be a lot of information distributed through email this summer and we do not want her to miss important information.
- Communicate with her Orientation Leader: The Orientation Leader plays an important role in helping your student acclimate to Simmons. Students who have made connections with their Orientation Leaders and other students prior to coming to campus tend to have the smoothest transitions to Simmons!
- Keep an eye out for her student bill: the Office of Student Financial Services will be mailing student bills on or around July 1, 2009.
