Deborah is a 21-year-old transfer student from Northwestern Connecticut Community College. She will be transferring in as a Junior, and this will be her first time away from home. She plans to double major in English and History while she is at Simmons. She loves to write, and devotes time to write in her personal journal on a daily basis. Deborah is also a civilian Civil War re-enactor, a member of Columbia’s Daughters, an offshoot of the 28th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. She is a big fan of the TV show “Family Guy” and has no problem quoting lines from the show in serious conversations. Her political beliefs run moderate, though she is a member of the Green Party. She is also a vegan, and helps out at a local animal shelter. Deborah is an only child and extremely close to her parents, Ben and Michelle. She also has a boyfriend, Chris, whom she has been with for about a year. She is looking forward to the upcoming year at Simmons and exploring Boston.
