"Imagine Simmons 100 years from now — what do you see?" This was the question President Helen Drinan posted to the Board of Trustees in October 2010 as she unveiled the College's five-year strategic plan.

Meet the Women Changing the Face of Leadership

For the third year, Simmons is hosting "The Study of the U.S. Institutes on Women's Leadership" program, more affectionately called Women Changing the Face of Leadership (WCFL). This five-week program, sponsored by the U.S State Department, brings together 20 women from six African nations and five Simmons students, with the goal of strengthening global awareness and developing future leaders.

Welcome back to Summer Stories! This series chronicles the great things our students are doing over summer vacation. In this installment we'll be talking to Hannah Russell from the class of 2015. Hannah is spending her summer volunteering in Thailand before backpacking through Cambodia! We had the chance to ask her a few questions.

Service at Simmons: Eliza Zimmerman '15

For more than 100 years, we have inspired our students to combine learning with action for a more just and equitable world. We had the chance to speak with Eliza Zimmerman, a Nursing major from the class of 2015. Eliza volunteered at More than Words for her service learning project. We asked her a few questions about her experience!

Where are they now? Jessica Deres '12

Meet Jessica Deres from the class of 2012. Jessica was a double major in psychology and economics. She currently works as a Training Specialist at the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts. We got to ask her a few questions about what it's like to work for the Girl Scouts!
