Conference Schedule and Overview
About the Conference
Sponsored By:
The Beginning Teacher Center of Teachers21 and Simmons College, The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and The National Commission on Teaching and America's Future.
Over 500 superintendents, school committee members, central office administrators including personnel directors, administrators, veteran and beginning teachers, higher education administrators and faculty from across the country will gather to address the lack of strong, systemic new teacher induction programs as a national education crisis. Speakers will include Jonathan Kozol, Tom Carroll, Daniel Goleman, Jon Saphier, Anne L. Bryant and Theresa Perry.
Conference Layout and Conference Schedule
Exhibitor tabletop displays will be arranged around the perimeter of the Grand Ballroom, where a majority of the conference activities will take place. The participants will be invited to visit exhibitors during allotted times and as booths will be conveniently located just outside the breakout session rooms, keynote hall, lunch and registration areas, exhibitors will have plenty of exposure with participants throughout the conference.
Exhibit areas will be "open" during the entire conference. Specific exhibit hours are as follows (hours are subject to change):
