Work-Study Opportunities at the Scott/Ross Center

Are you enthusiastic? Do you have a willingness to learn? Are you interested in making a difference, working on community issues and getting paid while doing it?

The Scott/Ross Center has been successful in employing over 150 Simmons College students in Work-Study programs around Boston. These paid positions offer students hands-on work experience while developing skills such as event planning, tutoring, and mentoring. Get involved today!

What qualifications do you need?

  • An interest in working on community issues
  • A willingness to learn
  • Enthusiastic participation in training sessions and regular meetings

The Boston Cares Campus Initiative Service Trip to the Gulf Coast

Apply Today!

The Boston Cares Campus Initiative is teaming up with Hands on Network in Biloxi, Mississippi to offer students a May service trip to the Gulf Coast! Volunteers are still desperately needed. Thanks to the support of corporate partners like The Home Depot, Hands On Network is continuing the outstanding work of volunteers in the region. The Hands On Action Center inBiloxi will remain open for volunteers in the foreseeable future.

Please apply by April 22
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. You will hear about the status of your application within 24-48 hours of applying.You will have until April 29 to book your flight and send me your flight information.
