Greetings Simmons College Residents,
Health and Safety checks are a very important part of the Residence Life program. They ensure that all residence hall rooms have an appropriate setup and that they comply with the Boston City Fire Code. They also ensure that residents follow college and residence life regulations and that the health of the community is not at risk from hygiene practices that are below acceptable standards.
Health and Safety checks will be completed between 1/29/12 and 2/5/12. Your RA and Pro Staff member will be checking your room between 9am and 9pm during this week. You do not need to be present during your room check.
If you have any questions regarding what is and is not allowed in the residence hall rooms, please consult your Housing License Agreement or contact the Office of Residence at reslife@simmons.edu or at 617-521-1096.
