Dog Lover Wanted! We are seeking a young professional or grad student to join us in our house. We have a 3 bedroom apartment in Brighton. We're looking for someone to move in July 1. About the House: It's an owner occupied duplex on a quiet, no permit needed street in Brighton, a few blocks from Brighton Center, Oak Square, the green line and plenty of buses. It has a fully equipped kitchen, redone with new appliances and granite countertops, a dining room, living room, den/office and two full baths. The best part is the bedroom available for rent. It's the entire third floor with a private bathroom and an enormous (not kidding) walk-in closet with built in shelves and clothing racks. It's a sunny, brand new space and ready to rent! The bedroom is big enough for a bedroom and lounge space. It really is a great room! About Us: We would like to keep our house clean and are looking for a roommate who wants the same. We've all left dishes in the sink overnight or leftovers in the fridge a little too long, but if you've never used a vacuum or cleaned a bathroom, we're probably not going to get along. One of us works long hours as a teacher during the week and the other is attending nursing school full time so we go to sleep pretty early. We would like the house to be a quiet space -- smoke free and drug free. When we're home we like community living- sharing cooking/dinner with roommate(s) and watching a TV show or movie. We recycle, and we might try composting. We are gardeners and like environmentally friendly things like cloth napkins, washable kitchen towels, etc. We both have dogs! One is a big handsome Lab and the other is a smaller Catahoula. If you don't like dogs, we're not the roommates for you. They are both well behaved and would love nothing more than to curl up with you or go for a run. Who We are Looking for: We're looking for someone who's clean, quiet, responsible and respectful. We're going to share a home, so please be easy to get along with. Pay bills on time, clean up after yourself and be thoughtful when it comes to the other people in the house. We're looking for someone who doesn't mind sharing a space with dogs, and two is enough so please look elsewhere if you have a dog.
