My hot summer!

So, my summer has been pretty busy so far. As I am writing this, I am sitting on the train to Boston for summer orientation as a Simmons Orientation Leader (OL). My heart is rate is beginning to slow down from my last minute packing!
This blog is probably the most school-related thing that I've done since I've been back home! I've been working at a local farm gardening and planting to earn some extra cash for my education. Believe it or not, I think about quitting at least once a day but when I start something, I have to finish it! The longer I work there, the more positives I find. Of course, the positives don't include the slithering scary garden snakes and toads I come across!
I started shadowing my orthodontist and dentist last week. It was SO AWESOME! Can't wait to go again! Today Dr. Meyer (dentist) did a bridge fitting and a cavity teeth filling. Dr. Yamin (orthodontist) let me practice mixing the gelatin mixture for the impressions, and I think he's going to let me take an impression before I go back to school! I'm still getting used to the jargon and I'm learning something new every single day!

What have you been up to this summer? Hope you're having a great summer!
