A weekend of activities
Tis' the season of shopping, crowds and finals. I know it's a busy time. But, there is so much going on this weekend at Simmons that you should take advantage of. Organizations have worked hard all semester to bring you top notch entertainment and fun. Please, take a break from the hustle and bustle of classes, studying, work, and whatever else is going on in your hectic life, and attend at least one fantastic performance or celebratory event.
Tonight! Wednesday, December 1: Simmons Hillel is holding a "Celebrate Chanukah 2010 Luau" at 7 p.m. in Alumnae Hall. There will be fun activities and fresh latkes. Visit the Hillel website to see what else is going on in celebration of Chanukah.
Saturday, December 4: The Colleges of the Fenway Dance Project will present IMPACT from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the MassArt auditorium. Tickets are sold at the door; $5 for students and $8 for general admission.
Saturday, December 4: The Simmons Sirens will perform in Alumnae Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Also, on Friday the Nutrition Liaison will hold a healthy holiday bake sale outside the Fens from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be selling their homemade cookbook for $8. I wouldn't mind receiving that as a christmas gift (hint hint).
If you do attend one of these events, please let us know how they were. I will be at the Simmons Choir concert on Friday night. Hopefully, see you there!
