Welcome, Class of 2014

The first year students are officially here! Yesterday, Sunday, August 29, was move-in day at Simmons College. The residence campus was buzzing with activity as new first year students and transfer students moved into their dorms and said goodbye to their families.

Street Team Members, Orientation Leaders, Resident Assistants, and student athletes all helped out and ensured that the move-in process was well-organized and efficient. Upon arrival, students were asked to check in at Alumnae Hall and given a schedule of the day's events. In the afternoon, new first year students, transfer students, and their families gathered in the Homles Sports Center to be officially welcomed to the College.

Keep an eye out for a video of move-in day activities with interviews from excited first year students and nervous parents. We couldn't be more happy to have them here!
