Conetta's Take: Jessica is a true leader on and off the court, whom with fellow captain Candyce Arena form Simmons' Dynamic Duo. A versatile player, Jess can be placed anywhere on the court without any doubt of her work ethic or talent when it comes to volleyball and will be looked upon as the anchor of the Simmons offense this year. I am excited to have Jessica lead the Sharks for the next few years.
2007: Played in 60 matches ... ended the season with 151 digs, 94 kills and 39 service aces ... ranked second on the team in kills and digs ... tallied a game high 16 digs against Suffolk on Oct. 13 ... reached double digits in digs seven times ... member of the Simmons College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
2006: Appeared in 19 matches and played 60 games ... ranked third on squad with 1.20 kills per game ... third on Sharks with 2.42 digs per game ... was third with a .121 hitting percentage ... recorded a double-double of the kill, dig variety with 12 kills and 16 digs on Sept. 23 against Daniel Webster.
