Conetta's Take: A freshmen outside hitter from Andover, Mass. Kate comes to the program with the enthusiasm and excitement to take a huge step this year in the GNAC. Kate is a tremendous teammate on and off the court, and will be looked upon this season as an outside attack. Kate is a true freshmen sensation eager to learn volleyball at the next level. Kate has already made a tremendous impact so far for the Sharks this season and will continue to learn as the years progress.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year varsity letterwinner at Andover High School ... captained team as a senior ... MVC all-conference selection in 2007 ... named Most Outstanding Player at the Hall of Fame Tournament ... received Top Offensive Player honors as a senior ... garnered MVC all-stars accolades as a junior ... helped team amass a 57-7 record during her three years ... finished senior season with 64 aces, an 86% hitting percentage and 130 kills ... four year honor roll student.
