Conetta's Take: Amanda will be looked upon as the Sharks setter for 2008. Weaver, a junior transfer from Elmira College has tremendous setting skills, with years of experiences; starting for two years for Elmira which plays in the Empire 8 division. Already coming to Simmons with over 1000 assists under her belt, Amanda is hoping to end her collegiate career as one of if not the best setter Simmons college has ever seen. 3000 sets by her senior year is one of the many goals Amanda has put on her shoulders, and from her ability that goal is extremely achievable.
2007: Competed at Elmira College ... garnered Setter of the Year honors.
2006: Competed at Elmira College ... was named team Rookie of the Year.
