Mindy Williams begins her first year as Head Coach of Swimming and Diving at Simmons. Coach Williams joined the Simmons coaching staff after a four years as Head Swim Coach and Aquatics Director at Regis College in Weston, MA, where she continually grew the women's swimming and diving program and built a solid foundation for the first-ever men's swimming and diving team.

Coach Williams, a native of Vermont, received her undergraduate degree in 2003 from Colby College.  While at Colby, she competed at the varsity level for four years and was an NCAA qualifier in 2000 and 2003.  She won All-NESCAC honors in the 1650, 500 and 200 freestyle relay and served as team captain her senior year.

Coach Williams started her career as the assistant coach of both swimming and water polo at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.

In addition to her coaching duties, Coach Williams will also serve as the department's Aquatics Director.

Erin Rowe

Head Diving Coach & Assistant Swimming Coach, Athletics  617-521-1032

Erin Rowe is entering her fifth season as Head Diving Coach at Simmons College. Over the past four seasons Coach Rowe has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the diving program, and was instrumental in obtaining state-of-the-art training equipment, including a trampoline and dry board station with overhead spotting rigs.

Coach Rowe was a four-year varsity athlete at Hartwick College where she trained under Coach Gary Zurn and held the school six-dive 1-meter record for several years. Upon graduating from Hartwick, Rowe moved to New Haven, CT where she assisted Yale University Coach Ryan Moehnke with his U.S. Diving age group team. Her training as an athlete and as a coach has inspired her to find new and creative ways to train and motivate her athletes.

Coach Rowe has had several divers qualify and compete at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Championships on both 1 and 3 meter. She is looking forward to even more success in the future especially with the new training equipment.

Coach Rowe received a B.A. in Psychology from Hartwick College in 2003, and is currently working on a M.S. in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University. Rowe is employed full-time as a project manager with the Institute on Urban Health Research at Northeastern University.

Christina Baudis

Assistant Swim Coach, Athletics

Christina Baudia is entering her second season as Assistant Swim Coach at Simmons College. She assists in all aspects of the program, including meet preparation, dryland coordination, stroke refinement and recruiting.

Coach Baudis, a native of Glastonbury, CT, has been a part of the competitive swimming scene in New England since age 8, including competing for the Glastonbury High School Swim Team. She began her coaching career in 2004 at the YMCA of Boston.

Under Coach Baudis' guidance during the 2007-08 season, the Sharks won the GNAC title, placed second at the Regis Invitational and qualified 12 athletes for the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Championships.

Coach Baudis received her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and her Masters of Health Education from Cambridge College. In addition to her coaching duties at Simmons, Coach Baudis is a health teacher at Boston Latin Academy.
