Falcons Shutout Sharks in GNAC Quarterfinals
October 31, 2011 NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Meghan Loughman (Trumbull, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal in the 35th minute to lead the Albertus Magnus women’s soccer team to it’s first-ever GNAC postseason victory as the Falcons shutout Simmons 2-0 Monday afternoon.

GNAC Women's Soccer 2011 Playoff Schedule Announced
Simmons soccer wrapped up their regular season yesterday evening with a 7-7-3 record overall and 6-4-2 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference play. The Sharks are seeded 6th and will travel to Albertus Magnus on Saturday, October 29th for a 1:00 p.m. match.

Sharks Battle the Blue to a Scoreless Draw
BOSTON, Mass. – Despite 17 shots on goal, the Simmons Sharks battled the Wellesley College Blue to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday evening in non-conference soccer action as the Sharks celebrated the team’s three seniors, goalkeeper Ashley Wheeler (Nashua, N.H.), defender Mandy Walke (Danvers, Mass.), and forward Chelsea Hersey (Newburyport, Mass.).
