Mastrogiacomo's Take: Katie is a natural athlete with good size and power. She is fit and strong and will solidify our backline while winning balls in the air. As the season goes on, I expect her confidence to rise and her communication skills to increase.
2007: Did not see any action but practiced the entire fall and traveled with the team to Italy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three sport athlete at Brien McMahon High School ... played soccer, indoor and outdoor track ... was a Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference honorable mention selection as a senior ... after the 2006 season was the recipient of the Chealse Cohen MVP award ... captained the soccer, indoor and outdoor track teams as a senior.
