Simmons Cross-Country will begin in fall 2009 as a club team.
The team's practice sites will include the 20-mile esplanade along the scenic Charles River, the infamous "Heartbreak Hill" on the Boston Marathon route, and the competitive racecourse at Franklin Field Park.
