BOSTON, Mass. -- Simmons Basketball fell to rival Emerson College, 63-51 Saturday afternoon, as the Sharks and Lions honored Kay Yow in the annual Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Play for Kay match up. The Sharks celebrated the team’s three seniors, Brittany Dolloff (Hollis, N.H.), Alex Acloque (Randolph, Mass.) and Jessica Thomas (Sandwich, Mass.) prior to the game for their hard work and contributions to Simmons athletics.

Cadets Outshoot Sharks in Final Seconds For Conference Win
February 7, 2012 NORTHFIELD, VT. – The Norwich University Cadets hit their final three free throws to overturn a late deficit and pick up a key Great Northeast Athletic Conference win against the Simmons Sharks Tuesday evening. The Cadets, improving to 10-13 overall and 5-6 in the league, trailed visiting Simmons (3-18, 1-10 GNAC) 62-46 with under six minutes left. From that point, the Maroon and Gold brought their home crowd inside Andrews Gymnasium to its feet with a 22-3 run to end the game with a 68-65 win.

Rivier Trips Up Simmons, 72-56
February 3, 2012 Nashua, N.H. -- Rivier College Women’s Basketball defeated the visiting Simmons Sharks this afternoon, 72-56. With the victory, the Raiders are in the midst of a seven game winning streak and have won eight of their past ten since the calendar turned to 2012.

Falcons Fly By Sharks 68-49
February 1, 2012 BOSTON. Mass. -- Lindsay Karle scored 22 points to lead the Albertus Magnus Falcons to victory over the Simmons Sharks 68-49 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action at the Holmes Sports Center Wednesday evening. The Falcons move to 12-8 overall and 5-4 in the GNAC with the win.

Sharks Fall to Emmanuel in GNAC Action
January 28, 2012 BOSTON, Mass. – In a balanced offensive effort, the Emmanuel College women’s basketball team defeat Simmons College, 69-56, Saturday afternoon at the Jean Yawkey Center in Boston, Mass. The Saints, who never trailed in the contest, improve to 13-6 overall and remain unbeaten in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference at 7-0 while the Sharks fall to 3-15 and 1-7 in GNAC play.
