SWIM, SPORTS & ACTIVITY CAMP 2009

The Simmons Swim, Sports & Activity School had a great summer in 2008. Join us in 2009!

Swim lessons, Instruction in basketball, soccer, raquetball, Arts & Crafts, and more! Recommended for Boys and Girls ages 5-13. Reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Program Director - Erica Mastrogiacomo

After two years as an assistant coach at Simmons, Erica Mastrogiacomo was named Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Simmons College in the spring of 2006. She is a graduate of Syracuse University where she was a member of the varsity soccer team. During her career at Syracuse she was a two-year captain, four-year letter winner, and recipient of the Verhulst Sportswoman of the Year Award in 2003. In 2002, Erica was a member of the Women’s National “B” Soccer Team. Before Simmons, Erica taught in a kindergarten classroom for students with various disabilities, at Nash Elementary School in Weymouth, Mass. She has worked several soccer camps throughout New England, including the Boston College Soccer Camp, Stonehill College Soccer Camp and the Brookline High School Camp.
Erica holds a “D” coaching license and is CPR/First Aid certified. She will be working with other qualified staff to promote a fun, safe, action-packed week.

This camp complies with the regulations of The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local Board of Health.

All campers must have a completed medical form and physical with in 3 months of the start of camp, signed by a physician, on file prior to the beginning of camp in order to attend. A registered nurse or licensed athletic trainer is on duty at all times. A physician is on call for consultation.

Parents have the right to review the camp's background check, health care and discipline policies, and grievance procedures upon request.
