Maggie Taylor Named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll

Simmons freshman Maggie Taylor (Yarmouth, Maine) was named to Great Northeast Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday morning after her performance last week.
Taylor went undefeated last week in singles play. She started the week off with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Nicole Vocaturo of Pine Manor on September 30. Taylor then went on to defeat Anna Zieba from NESCAC foe Colby College 6-3, 6-0 on October 5.
In doubles action, Taylor went 1-0, pairing up with fellow freshman Liza Pope (West Newbury, Mass.) to defeat Amanda Maurer/Kendra Dowen of Albertus Magnus, 8-0 on October 4.
Taylor is 6-3 in singles action and 7-4 in doubles play so far this season.
