Fitness Center Memberships

New Guest Policy

With each new membership (or renewing memberships) you will be given a certain number of complementary guest passes depending on the length of your membership. Once you use all of your guest passes, you may purchase a single day guest pass for $5.00 each day (one guest per day). You are responsible for your guest and you must remain in the facility with them at all times. Guest passes will NOT be replaced if lost or stolen.

The new guest policy will be STRICTLY ENFORCED starting January 1, 2007.

ATTENTION NEW and RENEWING MEMBERS

The NEW Fenway Card is up and running! What does this mean for you? Your new membership card will have exciting new additions.

You will now be able to add money to your card and use your card for:

  • Membership renewal
  • Vending machine purchases
  • Neighboring Restaurants (list of participating restaurants)

And when it's time to renew your membership, don't throw out your card - we'll simply reactivate the card you have!

Memberships

Sports Center memberships are available for all active Simmons students and faculty/staff at no charge. Individual and family memberships are available for alumnae/i and spouses or significant others of faculty/staff, alumnae/i, Dix scholars and graduate students and affiliates. The Sports Center also invites members of the Longwood Medical Area (MASCO) affiliates to purchase and individual memberships.

Alumnae/i Alumnae/i may use the facilities without purchasing a membership for $10 per visit and may bring one guest for an additional $5. An alumni card, which can be obtained at the Office of Alumnae/i Relations and a valid form of identification, must be presented to gain access to the facility.

Students Membership is free to students. Students are entitled to bring two guests per visit. Students must show their ID and sign in to gain access to the center.

Faculty/Staff Membership is free to Simmons Faculty and Staff. Faculty/Staff are entitled to bring one guest per visit. Faculty/Staff must leave their ID at the front.

All memberships must be purchased, in person, at the front desk of the Sports Center and cannot be transacted through the mail. All Sports Center Memberships are non-refundable.
