SWIM & SPORTS CAMP 2012

The Simmons Swim & Sports Camp had a blast in 2011. Join us in 2012!

Swim lessons, Instruction in basketball, soccer, racquetball, Arts & Crafts, and more! Recommended for Boys and Girls ages 5-13. Reservations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Program Director - Erica Mastrogiacomo

After two years as an assistant coach at Simmons, Erica Mastrogiacomo was named Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Simmons College in 2006. She led the Sharks to a GNAC Championship in 2009, earning an NCAA Tournament bid for the second time in school history. Her colleagues recognized her as the 2009 GNAC Coach of the Year.

She is a graduate of Syracuse University where she was a member of the varsity soccer team. During her career at Syracuse she was a two-year captain, four-year letter winner, and recipient of the Verhulst Sportswoman of the Year Award in 2003. In 2002, Erica was a member of the Women’s National "B" Soccer Team.

Mastrogiacomo has served as Camp Director at Simmons College since 2006. She has worked at Boston College Soccer Camp, in addition to camps at Princeton University, Villanova University and Stonehill College. She has been involved with club soccer in the South Shore, serving as Youth Coach for South Shore Select Soccer Academy.

Erica holds a USSF "D" coaching license and an NSCAA National Diploma, and is CPR/First Aid certified. She will be working with other qualified staff to promote a fun, safe, action-packed week.

This camp complies with the regulations of The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and is licensed by the local Board of Health. All campers must have a completed medical form and physical within 3 months of the start of camp, signed by a physician, on file prior to the beginning of camp in order to attend. A registered nurse or licensed athletic trainer is on duty at all times. A physician is on call for consultation.

Parents may request copies of background checks, healthcare and discipline policies as well as procedures for filing grievances.

We hire only qualified individuals. All staff members are subject to CORI and SORI background checks.
