Q: Who can attend Simmons College Swim & Sports Camp?

A: We recommend boys and girls between 5 and 13 years of age.

Q: Where is the Camp located?

A: The William J. Holmes Sports & Fitness Center located at 331 Brookline Avenue on the residential campus of Simmons College is the primary location. Lunch is held at Bartol Dining Hall and some outdoor activities may take place in the grassy quad on the gated residence campus.

Q: Where can I park?

A: There is NO parking available on campus, but there are metered spots on both sides of Brookline Avenue. There is also parking in the MASCO Garage at 375 Longwood Avenue.

Q: Where is pick-up and drop-off?

A: Both are in the lobby of the William J. Holmes Sports & Fitness Center.

Q: Is late pick-up available?

A: Yes. Late pick-up is available from 3:45-5:15pm for an additional $10/day per child. This option is not available on Fridays.

Q: What should a camper bring to camp?

A: Campers will need: snack, bathing suit, towel, goggles (optional)

Q: How much is Camp tuition?

A: Simmons Faculty/Staff $275; Non-Affiliates $295; Additional Child $50 off

Q: What is included in the tuition?

A: Swim lessons, sport instruction, arts & crafts, t-shirt and lunch at Bartol Dining Hall

Q: What if a camper has food allergies or other dietary needs?

A: Our dining hall can accommodate most dietary needs. It is best to inform our staff ahead of time in order to have our dining staff best prepared. Any dietary restrictions or food allergies should be included on health forms submitted with registration paperwork.

Q: Can parents visit children at camp?

A: Camp is a place for your children to learn, have fun and make new friends. Our staff encourages independence. For some children, a visit from a parent may cause a distraction, therefore we suggest limiting your visits. We welcome you to view our swim lessons from the observation deck in the lobby.
