Simmons Soccer received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America College Team Academic Award for the 2007-08 academic year. The award is given annually by the NSCAA to programs with a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Basketball's Fox Named to GNAC Weekly Honor Roll

Simmons junior forward Stephanie Fox (West Springfield, Mass.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference weekly Honor Roll. Honor Roll recipients have narrowly missed out on Player of the Week accolades.

Lacrosse Sends Holiday Letters to Soldiers

Simmons Lacrosse, the newest addition to Sharks Athletics, sponsored a Letters to Soldiers event in the Fens on Friday, December 5 and Monday, December 8. The team provided crafts materials and postage for members of the Simmons community to send cards to troops overseas for the holidays.

Two Swimmers Receive GNAC Weekly Honors

Simmons senior Keri-Ann Arsenault (Chester, N.H.) was named GNAC Swimmer of the Week, and sophomore Chennelle Jackson (Dorchester, Mass.) received GNAC Honor Roll mention this week, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday.

Three GNAC Records Fall as Simmons is Crowned 2008 Swimming & Diving Champions

Simmons College Swimming & Diving was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Champion of 2008. The win, Simmons' fifth in a row, and seventh in eight years, capped the two-day meet. More than 100 athletes from the conference's seven teams gathered at the Simmons College Holmes Sports and Fitness Center to race for the championship title.
