Registration

When can I register?
Registration is now open! Attendees may register on this website or by phone at 800-831-4284. Please be aware that mail-in registration closed as of May 17, 2017.

Will I receive a registration confirmation?
If you register online, you will receive an immediate email confirmation.
If you register by mail or phone, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address that you specify.

What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee helps to cover some of the miscellaneous costs of Reunion including but not limited to: parking, refreshments, staffing, and administration.

When will I receive my Pops tickets?
All tickets will be given to you at check-in during Reunion Weekend.

Can I choose who I want to sit with at the Pops?
Yes, during the registration process you may give seating requests. We will do our best to accommodate requests that are mutual and in the same type of seating. Please note that floor seating is at tables of five, and balcony seating is in rows.

What if I have special dietary concerns?
Please make a note on your registration form under the dietary/food allergy section of "special requests." You may also call us at 800-831-4284 and we will make a note on your registration for you. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.

I'm a member of Half Century Club. What do I pay for; what does my spouse/guest pay for?
The Half Century Club includes all alumnae/i who graduated from Simmons fifty or more years ago. Certain parts of Reunion Weekend are offered for free or at a reduced price for members of the Half Century Club; more information is available in your registration brochure. Spouses and guests are asked to pay full rates for all Reunion activities.

Is childcare available?
Childcare is not offered during Reunion Weekend.

Payments and Refunds

Do I include payment for my Saturday Night Class Event in my overall registration payment or make out a separate check?
Please include the payment for your Saturday Night Class Event in your overall registration payment.

Who should checks be made out to?
All checks should be made out to Simmons College.

Do you accept credit card payments?
Yes - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?
If you need to change or cancel your registration, please contact the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement at 800-831-4284. Please note that registration fees, special tours, and Pops tickets are non-refundable. We are unable to process any refunds for cancellations made after May 17, 2017.

Arrival and Parking

Where should I go when I arrive at Simmons?
Registration will be in the lobby of the School of Management Building, located on the Academic Campus adjacent to the garage.

If using GPS, use the address 78 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston. There you will see a blue Simmons College sign, located right next to Boston Latin School. When you turn at the sign and into the driveway, you will reach the back of the School of Management & Academic Building, where Registration is located, as well as the entrance to the garage.

At Registration you will receive your program packet, name badge, reunion gift, and tickets for any events and tours that you purchased in advance.

If you are staying on campus, you will then be directed to the shuttle bus so that you may check in with housing. The shuttle will take you directly to the Residence Campus. There you will check into your dorm and receive your swipe pass and key for your room.

Registration will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. If you will be arriving outside of these hours, you must notify the Office of Alumnae/i Engagement in advance at 800-831-4284.

Where can I park on campus?
Parking is available throughout Reunion weekend in the underground garage at the Academic Campus (300 The Fenway). To access our garage, you must enter through Avenue Louis Pasteur as noted above. When entering the garage, pull a ticket from the ticket dispenser; this will be the ticket you will use to exit as well. Each time you enter, pull a new ticket and use that same ticket to exit. Staff will be available to help in case of any problems.

Is parking free?
The cost of parking is included in the Reunion registration fee. During Reunion Weekend there will be no additional charge, including in/out privileges.

Is handicapped parking available?
Yes, handicapped parking is available. If you require handicapped parking, please include this in the "special requests" section of the registration form.

I'm on crutches. Can I park at the residence campus?
Parking is not allowed on the residence campus for any extended period of time. Small space is available for pickup and dropoff only. Shuttle service between the main campus and residence halls (Pilgrim Road Gate) will run throughout the weekend.

Can I drop my luggage/hospitality suite items at the residence hall before parking my car?
Parking is not available at the Residence Campus. Cars are allowed at the Residence Campus briefly for pickup and dropoff only.

Can I receive assistance with my luggage?
Staff members will be available to help with your luggage when you arrive. The shuttle will also help carry luggage between the Academic Campus and Residence Campus.



Making a Gift

How do I give to Simmons in honor of my Reunion?
Any gift to Simmons that you make during your Reunion year counts towards your class’s Reunion giving totals. The Reunion year is defined as the fiscal year in which your Reunion takes place – for Reunion 2017, this means July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.

How do I know that my gift will count towards my class totals?
You do not have to make any special notation in your gift in order for it to count! As long as the gift is made in your name, and the gift is made during the fiscal year in which your Reunion takes place, we’ll automatically connect it back to your class year. 

Please note that while all gifts in Fiscal Year 2017 count, at Reunion we will celebrate the class giving totals and participation rates as of that date. So don’t wait until the end of the year – whether you plan to attend Reunion or not, make an impact by giving before Reunion starts on June 2!

Getting Around

How do I get from Logan Airport to Simmons College?
The College does not provide transportation between the airport and the College.

Public Transportation:
If you are using public transportation from the airport to the College, please check the MBTA website and use their trip planner. Please be aware that trips from the airport to Simmons require multiple transfers between lines.

By Taxi or Rideshare (Uber, Lyft):
Please ask the cab to drop you off at 78 Avenue Louis Pasteur, Boston. The entrance to the Simmons College parking lot is located right next to Boston Latin School, where you will see a blue Simmons College sign. When you turn at the sign and into the driveway, you will reach the back of the School of Management & Academic Building, where Registration is located. Your driver will be able to pull a complimentary ticket from the machine and use the same ticket to exit on the opposite side of the driveway.

If you would like the cab to drop you off at the Residence Campus, please use the address 54 Pilgrim Road.

When and how often do the on-campus shuttles run? Where are the stops?
A shuttle bus will run all weekend between the parking lot of the School of Management Building and the Residence Campus on Pilgrim Road. Shuttles will be running continuously throughout Reunion Weekend. However, traffic can be unpredictable, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Class Events

What is my Class event?
Each Reunioning class holds their own Saturday night class dinner at a different location, on or off campus. This is a special time for classmates to reconnect and celebrate! Guests are also welcome at class events.

Housing

What dorm will I stay in? What is the dorm like?
Evans Hall: Half Century Club – 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962
Smith Hall: 50th Reunion Class – 1967
Arnold Hall: 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012

What is in a room? What do I need to bring?
Each room is supplied with fresh linens, a pillow, a light blanket, a small towel, and a face cloth. You may bring additional blankets or towels if you wish. All dorms have overhead lighting.

Can my spouse/guest stay in the same room as me?
Yes - many dorm rooms contain two single beds. To request a roommate, place your guest’s name in the roommate section of the registration form, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Are there single rooms available?
Yes, there are some single rooms in the dorms. If this is a need that you or your guest has, please list this on the registration form under "special requests." We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee this.

What are the bathrooms like?
Evans Hall has en-suite bathrooms, and the other dorms have shared bathrooms available on each floor. All hall bathrooms are unisex for the weekend. There will be signs to let you know if the bathroom is occupied by a man or woman or vacant. Please alter the door sign accordingly during the weekend.

Is there air conditioning?
All dorms are air-conditioned, but the air conditioning is controlled centrally, not within each room. There are also a limited number of fans available for rooms in other dorms. If you are driving to Reunion (and the forecast is for hot weather), you are welcome to bring a small fan for your room.

I'm handicapped - can I have a first floor room?
Yes. Please be sure to include this request in the "special requests" section on the registration form. We will be happy to accommodate you.

Which of the dorms have elevators?
Evans and Smith Halls both have elevators. Dix Hall is the only dormitory that does not have elevators.

Can I use the internet on campus?
Wi-fi is complimentary all weekend on both the Residence Campus and the Academic Campus. There are also a limited number of general-use computers available for use on the Academic Campus.

Are there phones in the rooms?
No.

Is there going to be security on the Residence Campus for the weekend?
Campus security will be present on campus throughout the entire weekend.

What happens if I lose my swipe pass and/or key?
There will be someone on call during Reunion to assist with any lost keys/swipe passes. This information will be provided at check-in. Please note that there is a $50 fee for lost keys and a $25 fee for lost swipe cards.
