Leigh Brody
Dr. Leigh Pauline Brody and Dr. Vlad Cezar Seitan are engaged to be married. The couple met while working as research scientists at Imperial College London. Dr. Brody, 32, works as Director of Desktop Genetics, a biotech company focusing on genome editing. She graduated from Simmons College with a BSc and received a doctorate from Imperial College London. She is daughter of Judy and Scott Brody, California. Scott is a previous proprietor of radio stations. She is granddaughter of Jerome Brody of New York, who owned or operated the Four Seasons, Gallagher’s and The Grand Central Oyster Bar. Dr. Seitan, 35, is Principal Investigator of a research lab at King’s College, where he studies genetics. He graduated from Edinburgh University with a BSc and received a doctorate from Newcastle University. He is son of Adriana and Gheorghe Seitan, Romania. Mr. Seitan was a journalist for Delta and established the newspaper Cronicarul. He contributes research and is a published author.

On November 7, 2015 I married, Todd Fasanella, at the Trump National Golf Club in Briar Cliff Manor, NY. It was truly a beautiful celebration with family and friends. One of the many highlights of the day was Gemma(Ferrick) McGowan traveled from Germany to be my maid of honor with her daughter Maeve (4). Gemma and I met on our first day of orientation at Simmons and have remained close friends. I will always be grateful to Simmons for the amazing friends I made throughout my college experience. --

Dr. Hannah Fraley, PhD, RN recently received her PhD in Population Health from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Dr. Fraley has accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Dr. Fraley's research program focuses on vulnerable populations, health equity, health promotion and risk reduction among vulnerable youth at-risk for Commercial Sexual Exploitation in the US.

Dr. Zahida "Za" Khan is an Attending Pediatric Gastroenterologist and research faculty at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She completed the MD/PhD (MSTP) program at Univ of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, residency at Cincinnati Children's Hosp, and fellowship at Children's Hosp of Pittsburgh.

Lia Hollander
After departing US Mission Geneva in Switzerland, Lia is currently posted in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire as an EFM with the US Department of State. She teaches American English to Ivorians that want to study in the United States. She and her husband will be posted there for two years before heading to their next post.
