Judith E Filler

Judith Filler, 67, class of ‘76, died September 17, 2016. After a career as an executive for CBS (NYC) and American Airlines (Dallas), she found her calling in Austin organizing for social change, becoming the executive director of a coalition working for social justice and Amnesty International’s state coordinator against the death penalty. Her will creates The Judith Filler Foundation dedicated to funding projects devoted to ending the death penalty in Texas, c/o MC Reed, 1709 Norris Dr., Austin, Texas 78704.

Marny Jaastad

Marny Jaastad has published her first book: "BE...Letters About Life From a Godmother to a Boy BE...coming Himself." The book is a series of 72 email letters to the godson exploring what attributes and qualities of how to BE...a person. Intended for all ages and interests. The series follows the evolution of their relationship as well as each of them independently.

Yvonne Macrae

Just graduated (5/21/16) with a PhD in Educational Studies/Adult Learning from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. My dissertation title is: "Navigating the New American Classroom: How Adjunct Faculty Empower Themselves to Reach Out to the New Diverse Population of Students".  I am especially interested in this topic because I teach management courses as an adjunct faculty member.
