President – Jean Scanlan '69LS

Jean Scanlan '69LS, Board President, is retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers after thirty-one years; her last position was Knowledge Manger for the US Investment Company Group. Jean served as the Business & Finance Division Chair in the Special Libraries Association, and the Division Cabinet Chair on the SLA Board of Directors. In 1995, she was named a Fellow of Special Libraries Association. She also published a book, Business Online Database, in addition to several articles for the periodical Database.

Vice President – Anna Bognolo '15LS

Anna Bognolo '15LS, Vice President/President Elect, is the Outreach/Technical Services Librarian and an adjunct instructor at Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) in Springfield, MA, where she has worked since 2010. At STCC, Anna organizes library-related activities, oversees the technical services staff and the College's archive. As an adjunct, she teaches a one-credit research course and an honors-level course titled "The History of Information." Anna has a broad range of library science-related interests including social justice, outreach, and access and preservation. In addition to serving on the SLIS Alumni Board, she is a board member of the Digital Commonwealth, NELA's IT section and Franklin County Community Meals Program. Anna lives in Deerfield, MA with her husband and two children.

Secretary – Kimberly Borrelli '09LS

Kimberly Borrelli '09LS, Secretary, is a senior research analyst with Boston University's Development and Alumni Relations. Kim has been treasurer of the SLIS alumni board since 2013, where she is responsible for maintaining and tracking funds for board activities.

Director at Large – Micha Broadnax ’16LS

Micha Broadnax '16LS, Director at Large, is a graduate of the Archives Management concentration. During her studies at Simmons, she took courses at the Western Massachusetts location, the Boston campus, and online. She was an active student leader in the Progressive Librarians Guild. Micha is a recipient of American Library Association's Spectrum Scholarship, as well as the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and Society of American Archivist (SAA) Mosaic Fellowship. She is currently the Digital Archivist at Emerson College Archives and Special Collections.

Director at Large – Anastasia Collins '16LS

Anastasia Collins '16LS, Director at Large, is the Social Work Liaison Librarian at the Simmons Library and a children's literature scholar. She is an ALA Spectrum alum, a member of the Beta Phi Mu International LIS Honor Society, and was the recipient of the 2016 Children's Literature Department Chair's Recognition, which celebrates academic achievement and professional engagement in children's and young adult literature.

Director at Large – Alex Lent, '11LS

Alex Lent, '11LS, Director at Large, is Director of the Millis Public Library, President of the Massachusetts Library Association, and Founder and Coordinator of the Library Directors Group (librarydirectors.org), a peer-learning group for library directors.

Director at Large – Derek T. Mosley '11LS
Derek T. Mosley '11LS, Director at Large, is responsible for the management of the Archives Division at the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History, which includes donor relations and collection management.
Director at Large – Marti Verso-Smallidge '11LS

Marti Verso-Smallidge '11LS, Director at Large, is a graduate of the archives management and history dual degree program. While at Simmons, Marti served as the co-chair for the Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists and worked in the Student Services Center. After graduation, she worked for EBSCO Publishing before deciding to leave the workforce to focus on raising her children.
