What do you do next?

Apply for a passport. Forms are available in the Office of Study Abroad (Suite E-110) or at the State Department website. Take your completed application in person to:

Talk with students who have studied abroad, check with your advisor, and plan ahead. With the right planning, you can fit a short-term course, a semester, or even a year abroad into your schedule. If you plan to study in a non-English speaking country, enroll in language courses as needed to be sure your language skills are ready.

Visit the Career Education Office before going abroad. There may be ways to get a jump on preparation for job searches. You may also want to check out possible international careers.
