Professor Villar, a native of Spain, holds a doctoral degree in Hispanic Language and Literatures from Boston University. She has taught Intermediate Spanish at Boston University and Tufts University as well as Contemporary Spanish Literature courses at Framingham State College. Her main areas of interests are Contemporary Woman Writers from Spain and Latin America.
