Studio 5 is a renowned faculty-facilitated, professional communications studio managed by students doing real work for real clients in the Boston community. It was launched in the spring of 1995 in the Department of Communications at Simmons College as a way to take the idea of a "workplace classroom" one step further.

Studio 5 gives soon-to-graduate students the advantage of hands-on experience before they begin their professional careers. It evolved from a teaching philosophy which has long been central to the College's communications program - an integration between classroom and community.  It is a studio within the College where seniors combine communication skills with experience to complete projects for real clients as their classwork.

Please note: The Studio 5 website is currently unavailable, but will be up and running again shortly.
