Internships

Student at her Internship

The internship experience is an integral part of a Simmons education. We are committed to providing each student with an opportunity to gain practical field experience. We have structured our program to enable each student to work in an environment where she may observe, assess, and participate in professional activities while making a contribution to the sponsoring organization.

“I learned so much while interning at Cone. I learned a lot not only professionally, but personally as well. I feel the internship gave me a great deal of confidence within the field of work and my ability to complete various tasks. I was also forced to learn time management, and professionalism. I would recommend the internship program at Cone to anyone who wants to, and is willing to learn!”
— Whitney Gaglio, ‘09 Cone., Inc.

“At Conventures, I was able to see all the hard work that is put into event planning. Months and months of planning goes into an event that could last from 7pm-10pm, so much hard work. I am so glad that I was able to contribute to the planning and see how a company is run, I had no idea prior to my internship.” — Lindsay Douglas ‘09, Conventures

“My internship was an invaluable learning experience, that has helped
to shape my career aspirations.” —Molly THorell ‘08, Brigham and Women’s Hospital: Public Affairs
