Edie has been teaching at Simmons since 2000. Her classes include introduction to basic photography, advanced photo workshop and digital color. Originally from NYC, Edie previously taught at the School of Visual Arts and Northeastern and Tufts University. She was also a visiting artist at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Edie has explored all facets of the Photographic medium from traditional gelatin silver prints and cyanotypes to large digital color prints. Her work is included in the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Fidelity Bank and the Polaroid Corporation Collections. One-person shows include the Bernard Toale Gallery, the Griffin Museum of Photography, CEPA, the Visual Studies Workshop, and the Marcuse Pfeifer Gallery.
