Yonsei University

Study in Seoul, South Korea: the capital city of a country rich with ancient cultural history!  Located in the heart of Seoul, Yonsei's campus is nestled within a bustling, highly modernized city connected by the largest metropolitan subway system in the world, and near historic national treasures like Gyeongbokgung Palace.

Host Institution: Established in 1885, Yonsei is the oldest university in Korea. As South Korea's top private university, Yonsei is one member of ‘SKY', a term for the three institutions widely regarded as the most prestigious in the country. Spread over three sites situated in Sinchon, Wonju, and its state-of-the-art international campus in Songdo, Yonsei consists of 30,000 undergraduate and around 12,000 postgraduate students. Yonsei is well known for its internationalized campus, including 600 full-time and study abroad students from all over the world and a diverse offering of English-taught courses.

Majors*: Courses available for most majors in English. Yonsei does not offer coursework in the health sciences.

Housing*: Students reside in on-campus dormitories.

Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA.
