Senior Administrative Assistant
Jeannine Leach joined the Dean's Office in July 2016 after two years working as the Administrative Assistant in the Student Life Office.
Jeannine holds a BA in English, concentration in Writing from Bridgewater State University and is currently enrolled in the MAT program for secondary education here at Simmons.
Administrative Assistant II
Before joining the Simmons community, Emma assumed administrative roles as a Membership Supervisor and Office Assistant, as well as a Youth Program’s Coordinator at the MetroWest YMCA. As a Program’s Coordinator, Emma aided projects connecting inter-city youth of Framingham to non-profit organizations including Buddy Dog Humane Society and the Salvation Army.
Emma has also participated in community outreach projects as a Crisis Counselor and Decisional Trainer at Pathways for Change, the Northampton Jail and House of Correction, and the Northampton Veteran’s Affairs facility. While there, she focused on gender equality, victim’s rights, and societal reintegration and preparation.
Emma earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she spent time working under the Sleep Studies and the Human Resources Laboratory Divisions as an undergraduate research assistant. Her work has covered topics of public policy and attitudes towards global relief efforts, as well as the effects of REM sleep in regards to memory recall. Additionally, she served as a teaching assistant under the Psychology department crossing the fields of neuroscience, personality theory, abnormal disorders, and child development.
