Nursing Pinning Ceremony

The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is a symbolic welcoming of newly graduated nurses into the nursing profession.

During the Pinning Ceremony our new nurses are called to the stage individually and presented their nursing pin by the dean and faculty of Simmons School of Nursing. Prior to this Pinning Ceremony, guests hear remarks from faculty members of the Simmons community as well as students who were voted to speak by their peers.

Program awards are also giving to undergraduate students during the Pinning Ceremony.
