Simmons College offers its students a wide range of academic resources.
Once you are a student at Simmons you will have access to all college
resources through the Student Portal (my.simmons.edu).

Pottruck Technology
Resource Center
Technology training classes and workshops are available to students
throughout the year. Some past course offerings include: Photoshop,
Statistical Software, Powerpoint, Dreamweaver, HTML, and Microsoft Office.
Career
Services
The Career Education Center (CEC) offers a wide variety of free services
and programs to help students and alumnae/i make important career decisions,
including assistance with choosing a major, perfecting interviewing
skills, preparing effective job search materials, and developing job
search strategies. The Miller/Knopf Career Resource Library (CRL) has
an extensive collection of career and graduate school information and
is open to all Simmons College students and alumnae/i for their research.
All students also have access to an online job and career information
database.
Center for Academic Achievement
The Center for Academic Achievement’s goal is to assist all students to
become independent learners. To aid all students’ progress, the
Center provides appropriate resources and services to all undergraduate
and graduate students. We match students with tutors, advise students
with study skills and time management, and offer help to students learning
English as a Second Language, as well as accommodate students with disabilities.
The Simmons Libraries
Beatley Library is the main Simmons College Library. It houses the bulk
of the more than 280,000 volumes and over 2,000 periodical subscriptions
owned by Simmons, as well as housing a rapidly expanding collection
of media materials. A comprehensive reference collection, plus special
resources in areas such as women's studies and juvenile literature,
are major assets of the Beatley Library.
The Libraries also include the Simmons Archives, a specialized library
for the Graduate School of Library and Information science, and special
collections devoted to business and women in management housed in the
School of Management.
The Trustman Art Gallery
The gallery exhibits the work of professional artists and has yearly
exhibition of student work. Annual exhibitions celebrate specific months
such as Women’s History Month. Each year the students enrolled
in the Arts Administration capstone course organize an exhibition under
the supervision of their instructor.
Simmons
College Bookstore
In addition to all course related books and materials, the Bookstore
carries a wide variety of merchandise and offers many services. From
baseball caps and sweatshirts to fine pens and clocks, all Simmons emblematic
merchandise can be purchased through the Bookstore. Traditional items
such as backpacks, school supplies and dorm accessories are also available.
Students can also visit the bookstore online.
Registrar and
AARC
Simmons now offers online course registration through our AARC system.
The registrar will aid you in course registration, transcript requests,
and graduation requirements.
