» press releaseGirls Get on Path to Self-Discovery April 27 at Simmons College Conference BOSTON (April 19, 2002) Dreaming big and getting on the path to self-discovery will be explored by young women at the sixth annual G.I.R.L.S. Conference on Saturday, April 27 at 8:45 a.m. in the Main College Building at Simmons College, 300 The Fenway. The Growing Individuals Reacting to Lifes Struggles conference, "Self-Discovery : Dare to be You!," will bring more than 100 young women together to increase awareness of girls issues, and will feature workshops on everyday leadership, self matters, and the sisterhood circle, among others. It is sponsored by the Patriots Trail Girl Scout Council and hosted by the Simmons Institute for Leadership and Change. Registration for the event costs $10 for girls under 18, $15 for adults.
