Accreditation

Simmons College is accredited by the Commission for Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. First accredited in 1929, the College was last re-accredited in April 2011. 


The School of Social Work Masters program in Behavior Analysis is accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International.


The School of Library and Information Science's Masters program in Library and Information Science is accredited by the American Library Association Committee on Accreditation.


The School of Nursing and Health Sciences' programs in nursing and nutrition are accredited, respectively, by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The Physical Therapy Program at Simmons College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
The School of Management is accredited by AACSB-International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Masters in Health Administration is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education.
The BSW and MSW degrees of the School of Social Work are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education's Committee on Accreditation.
